I see it every day, people who think someone else will spread the word for them, but where business is concerned there are a few reasons why this does not happen:

Unless you’re in the IT business, you might not place much significance on the date of April 8th. However, for those in the know, this date has been marked on our calendars for quite a while.
On April 8th, Microsoft will cease supporting Windows XP—the operating system that many of us have relied upon for years. It’s also worth noting that on the same day, support also ends for Microsoft Office 2003. This is newsworthy because after April 8th we’ll no longer be able to receive updates to Windows XP and Office 2003 to correct problems.

I love enjoying time at a restaurant with excellent food, ambience and in the company of my husband and business partner, Dave. When the experience offered is exceptional and I know without a doubt it's about me, the customer, I will definitely recommend the restaurant in question and share how how wonderful my experience was with my online connections as well as with people I come into contact with on a daily basis face to face.

By now, most companies have a website. It seems incredible that a business would choose not to have a website in this day and age, but it still happens. Since we’re talking about site conversion here though, we’ll leave the convincing of those other companies for a rainy day.

With Facebook having turned ten years old this month, it’s becoming harder to remember what the Internet was like before Social Media. Liking, Tweeting and Find us on Facebook are all terms that are now woven into our digital subconscious.

It’s a new year, and whilst we look forward to new opportunities and ahead to new challenges, we must also remember the existing ones.
Many of us draft up New Years’ Resolutions as a way of kick starting the year and doing the things we know we should focus on, but perhaps haven’t. I’d like to encourage you to do something similar around security. The good news is that some of these resolutions might be easier to achieve than your commitment to the gym, or eating fewer carbs!

I have never been happier since I handed over the accounting tasks to someone else; being a business owner I have to concentrate on what I do best to ensure I continue to be successful.
But, whether you take care of the accounting for your business, or someone else does it, it's always a good idea to have an understanding of that side of the business and this can easily be done via information on the web, reading books, articles and suchlike.
